Learn and explore a new art technique of resin Petri Art where you break the boundary between science and art. You control a part of the process and at the same time let chemicals take over resulting in beautiful art pieces.

The session will give participants the opportunity to experiment with color and light whilst the participant will create three abstract petris using resin, inks and chemicals.

The session will end with a discussion on how to refine ideas of the process and how to consider how our own perception relate to the abstract world we create, with color depth and form influencing what it is we see.

Important Note: Please note the resin art work will need to be left 48 hours approximately before they are cured and ready to be taken away.

About The Instructor:
Sanaa Merchant is known for her love of bold colors and ink that have evolved and given art a modern perspective in the current era. The artist evolves with her art works whether traditional forms to the modern art forms in both contemporary and abstract styles. Moreover, the use of vibrant bold colors, with their dimensional forms gives them a thought provoking process in the development.
