The Music of the Spheres workshop introduces the basics of the Islamic geometric patterns to children. The workshop will consist of two exercises:

1 – connecting the dots – drawing exercises which allow the participating child to create the pattern by connecting the numbered dots.

2 – coloring the patterns – coloring exercises allow participating child to use their imagination and creativity to create colorful patterns. The end result will be a collage of all individual patterns to form a single large colorful pattern.

About the Artist:

From trying to link the missing link between his two passions, art, and history, Jaber Alhaddad, an Emirati artist, found the type of art that match his creativity and his message to the world. The message is to preserve and increase the awareness about the Islamic Geometry art.
