We will be creating a beautifully acrylic-painted circular canvas as the pictures posted! We will require 2 arts sessions to complete the canvas.

We will be focusing on the technique of Authentic Eastern block printing and painting inspired by truck art. Truck art is a popular form of regional decoration in South Asia, featuring elaborate floral patterns and calligraphy.

A segment of the classes will include focusing on a Bauhaus style pattern. A stylish and bold contemporary form of art with the technique originating from Munich in the 1920s.

Finally, we will also focus on Islamic geometry and Moroccan tile patterns inspired by ‘Zellige’ mosaic tile-work. The vibrant colours and delicate patterns will bring the canvas all together!
