During the workshops, participants get to experience assembling and crafting their own musical instruments. Everyone will get to keep their creations.
Initially, attendees are taken through a few slides about stringed instrument theory, previous examples, diverse tools and materials for construction, and a background about how the featured instruments are played. Next, they will proceed to assembling, designing and tuning their handmade instruments followed by a jamming session.
About The Instructor:
Basil Azizoghly is a mechanical engineer and internationally certified luthier. He turned his hobby into a full time job and aims to share it with the world.
