This is a hands-on, two-hour leather craft experience where participants create their own genuine leather catch-all tray— using premium vegetable-tanned leather.

In this workshop, guests will learn how to cut, edge-finish, shape, and assemble a beautiful snap-corner leather plate without any stitching. They will also be able to emboss some engravings and hand dye their trays. They’ll understand how leather behaves, how to set hardware cleanly, and how to form structured corners using simple techniques that require no sewing machine or prior experience.

Each participant will leave with a fully functional, minimalist leather tray perfect for organizing watches, jewelry, keys, or daily essentials. The design is timeless, durable, and ages beautifully over time — developing a rich patina unique to each owner.

About the Instructor:

Dr. Shereen Mostafa is a leather craft expert and hobbyist trained in both Egypt and Germany, with years of experience teaching and fine craftsmanship. Her artistic journey blends traditional Egyptian leatherwork methods with European finishing techniques. She specializes in creating bespoke accessories—wallets, journals, and luxury leather goods—under her brand Khozama Leather. Her teaching style is friendly, structured, and accessible, guiding participants to build confidence while mastering professional techniques.
