slab pots are one of the oldest forms of pottery, dating back over 10,000 years. slab pot technique involves creating clay slabs and then joining them together in a desired form of pottery. Slab pots have been found in many cultures throughout history, including ancient Egypt, Greece, and Native American tribes

About The Instructor:
Shahid Malik is a contemporary artist redefining traditional miniature painting. With degrees in Fine Arts from NCA and Punjab University, his work has gained regional and international acclaim. Awarded the Dubai Golden Visa in 2023 and a National Bank of Fujairah Art Award, his art has been showcased globally. He also leads workshops with RAK Art Festival and Sharjah Art Foundation.
