Sahab Collective presents Developing Voice: a ten-session writing course for young people aged 14 to 18 who are ready to approach their writing with discipline, ambition, and imagination. Held at The Workshop Dubai, this course is designed to support students in preparing for university, professional creative pathways, and formal examinations—while providing the rare opportunity to be published in the Sahab Collective Journal and perform at our Seasonal Showcase in December 2025.

Participants will work toward building a portfolio of original writing and commentary: a foundation for future applications and a serious step toward authorship. Writers will engage in seminar-style discussion, contribute to group critique, and learn to express complex ideas with clarity and personal conviction.

The course cultivates resilience through revision, confidence in communication, and the ability to listen critically as well as speak freely. Led by a published author and experienced educator, Developing Voice balances literary study with creative experimentation. Writers will explore multiple genres and forms while discovering how to use their own voice to shape, question, and reimagine the world around them.

This is not an extracurricular hobby—it is a formative step for any young person seeking to grow as a reader, writer, and thinker.
